Microsoft has officially announced the upcoming ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handheld gaming PCs.
The ROG Xbox Ally X is a handheld gaming device powered by Windows 11 Home with a 7-inch Full HD IPS display (1920 × 1080) with a 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Gorilla Glass Victus with DXC coating. It supports 10-point multi-touch.
It uses an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, running up to 5.0GHz, and includes an AMD XDNA NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS. Graphics are handled by integrated AMD Radeon Graphics.
Aside from that, it comes with 24GB LPDDR5X RAM in dual-channel configuration and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD.
Controls feature full-size analog sticks, Hall Effect triggers, bumpers, D-pad, A/B/X/Y buttons, two assignable grip buttons, gyro (6-axis IMU), and haptics. Dedicated Armoury Crate and Command Center buttons are also included.
Audio support includes dual speakers with Smart Amp, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res certification, AI noise canceling, and a built-in microphone.
Connectivity comes via Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. Battery-wise, the device runs on an 80Wh capacity and charges through a 65W USB-C adapter.

The ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X will be available globally starting October 16, 2025.
The ROG Xbox Ally is priced at USD599.99 (around PHP 34,999) while the ROG Xbox Ally X is priced at USD999.99 (around PHP 58,199).
