The Mr. World Philippines organization is looking for the successor to Mr. World Philippines 2024 Kirk Bondad.
There’s a little over two weeks left for aspiring male beauty pageant candidates looking to make history, as the Mr. World Philippines organization has announced the date of its final screening.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Mr. World Philippines organization announced that its final screening for potential candidates is happening on November 29, 2025. While the organization hasn’t yet announced the time and venue of the screening, it did include a link to an application form and the application requirements in the caption to the post.
The Mr. World Philippines organization had already twice extended the deadline of applications for the pageant before the announcement of this final screening. Less than a week ago, the organization announced the extension of the application period to November 14, 2025. In the caption to the post, the organization included the steps for application, as well as its openness to accepting either a “seasoned contender” or someone “stepping into the spotlight for the first time”.
Before that announcement, the Mr. World Philippines organization extended the deadline for its application period to October 15, 2025.
The initial deadline for applications was set on August 30, 2025, with the organization providing a link to application forms as well as instructions to applicants to send one full body shot, one swimwear photo and one headshot.
The pageant is looking for the successor of Mr. World Philippines 2024 Kirk Bondad, who finished in the Top 20 of the pageant.
When he competed in the Mr. World competition, Kirk placed in the Top 12 of the Mr. World Top Model competition. Kirk was commended by the Mr. World Philippines for showcasing Filipino craftsmanship by wearing a suit made by designer Francis Libiran.
The closest the country has come to winning the Mr. World pageant was back in 2012 when Andrew Wolff placed first runner-up to Mr. Colombia Francisco Javier Escobar Parra.
Kirk has since gone on to win in the Mister International pageant, a win that he declared was a moment bigger than himself.
