MANILA, Philippines — Actress Max Collins is buzzing with excitement after working on international film “Big Tiger” opposite fellow Kapuso star Alden Richards, the movie’s antagonist and co-producer.

A teaser for the film was unveiled earlier this week with brief images of Max and Alden’s characters as well as a targetted 2026 release.

In an Instagram post, Max shared behind-the-scenes clips and production photos reflecting on venture into international projects.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to do an international movie,” she wrote in her post’s caption. “When you’ve dreamt about something for so long and it doesn’t happen, you start to think that maybe that dream is just that — a dream. But when I least expected it, the opportunity came along.”

The actress recalled production flew by so fast and upon looking back at photos wished she had taken more.

“I’m so lucky I got to meet such amazing people, make new friends, and be inspired to keep on doing what I love most,” Max also said. “Thank you for allowing me the honor of being part of ‘Big Tiger’ and I miss you guys already!”

Max ended by praising the local film industry and expressing excitement for the Philippines to be seen once more on the global scene.

She even made the effort to tag her co-stars and crew members including Alden, Katherine McNamara, Byron Mann, and director-writer Keoni Waxman.

“Big Tiger” is the first international venture of Alden’s Myriad Entertainment, which co-produced the film alongside Lux Angeles Studios, Birns and Sawyer Studios, and Voltage Pictures.
