MANILA, Philippines — Letran went to super rookie Vanessa Sarie in the fifth and final set when it erased a seven-point deficit and escaped with a 25-22, 25-19, 23-25, 23-25,17-15 victory that sealed it the first Final Four seat in NCAA Season 100 women’s volleyball at the EAC Gym.

Sarie, a neophyte from Bicol, unleashed a monster 37-point effort including clutch hits in the deciding set that powered the Lady Knights to their 13th win in 15 outings and straight to the Final Four.

Earlier, University of Perpetual Help turned back San Sebastian, 25-23, 28-30, 25-16, 25-21, to bolster its Final Four hopes with a 9-5 record.
