Kobe Shinwa beats Cignal, nears PVL Invitational finals

Kobe Shinwa College defeated Cignal, 25-7, 25-18, 19-25, 27-25, within the PVL Invitational Convention on Thursday on the Sensible Araneta Coliseum to close a spot within the finals.

Nagisa Komatsuda had 21 factors from 19 assaults, a block, and an ace, whereas Arisu Ishikawa and Kokoro Yasuma had 15 and 12 factors, respectively.

Roselyn Doria-Aquino had 16 factors to steer Cignal, whereas Erika Santos had 11 factors.

With the victory, Kobe Shinwa improved to 3-1, whereas Cignal slipped to 1-4 to finish its marketing campaign.

The winner of the match between Kobe Shinwa and Chery Tiggo on Friday will decide the finalist which can face PLDT within the finals.
