HUAWEI has officially announced that it will unveil the HUAWEI Mate 80 series this November in China.
The series is expected to include four models: Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro Max, and Mate 80 RS Master Edition.
As shown in its first look teasers, the upcoming series features a striking dual-circle camera module on the back.
The upper circle houses the main camera setup labeled “XMAGE,” while the lower circle adds balance or may hold additional sensors.
The phone has a metallic or frosted glass finish with flat sides, rounded edges, and squared-off corners as well.
All models are expected to include 3D face recognition, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a redesigned camera module, and run on the new Kirin 9030 chipset, with some models possibly offering up to 20GB of RAM.
Reports also suggest a built-in active cooling fan, a rare feature in mainstream flagships.
