DreamWorks made a live-action version of “How to Train Your Dragon,” based on their popular 2010 animated film and a book by Cressida Cowell.
The story is about Hiccup, a young Viking who wants to prove himself. He shoots down a rare dragon called Night Fury but decides not to kill it. Instead, he befriends the dragon and names it Toothless.
This new movie keeps the original story but adds more feelings, with Mason Thames playing Hiccup and Gerard Butler returning as his dad.
The dragons look very real, especially Toothless, whether on the ground or flying. The flying scenes are amazing and even better than before.
The music by John Powell is a big highlight. His songs sound stronger and more emotional in this version, making the movie even better.
DreamWorks did a great job with this remake and might make a sequel soon. Fans can enjoy this fresh and exciting take on a favorite story about friendship and dragons.
