Habacon, Bachor power San Beda past EAC

Angel Habacon and Janelle Bachar powered San Beda University past Emilio Aguinaldo College, 25-16, 26-24, 25-17, on Saturday in the NCAA Season 100 women’s volleyball tournament at the San Andres Gym in Manila.

Habacon had 17 points built on 13 attacks, two blocks, and two aces, while Bachar added 14 points anchored on 13 attacks as the Lady Red Spikers improved to 3-14.

Jing Alimen, meanwhile, was the top scorer for the Lady Generals with 15 points to go with 13 receptions and seven digs as EAC slipped to 4-13.

San Beda will wrap its campaign on Wednesday against the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, while EAC will end its season against San Sebastian College-Recoletos on Tuesday.
