Young talents from around the world gathered for the Golden Star Kids International 2025, a prestigious modeling and talent competition founded by acclaimed Albanian artist Albana Cakshiri. The global event took place from October 31 to November 4, 2025, at one of Antalya’s most luxurious resort hotels, celebrating creativity, confidence, and cultural diversity among children from more than 20 countries.
This year’s edition marked a proud moment for the Philippines with the appointment of Elipas Sibua as the competition’s first-ever National Director from the Philippines. Sibua, who also holds the franchise for Golden Star Kids International Philippines and India, was recognized during the Gala Night with the Best Director 2025 Award for his leadership and dedication to empowering young Filipino artists.
Among the standout participants was Celine Cabral Matondo, who represented the Philippines with remarkable grace and talent. Celine took home two major titles — Best Talent Grand Prix Supreme and Kids Ambassador 2025 — after impressing the judges with her stage presence and performance.
Competing among 65 contestants, Celine showcased Filipino artistry on the international stage, strutting down the runway at VIP Fashion Week Turkey in striking creations by the Colibre Collection from Kazakhstan and Kevin Palmz Collection from Estonia. Her show-stopping national costume, designed by Ritchell Otadoy and inspired by the colors of the Philippine flag, earned admiration for its craftsmanship and symbolism.
Behind Celine’s success were her supportive parents, Cecille and Nestor Matondo, along with her vocal coach, Mr. Sibua, and catwalk mentor, Mr. Otadoy, who guided her journey throughout the competition.
Reflecting on the experience, Sibua said simply, “To God be all the glory.”
