MANILA, Philippines — Miss Universe 2025 Fatima Bosch said that he will not let hate comments affect her reign as the new queen.

In a series of Instagram stories written in Spanish, Fatima said that the online attacks will not define her as a person. She posted the hate comments and death threats sent to her.

“Today, I am here to say something with absolute clarity: no attack will make me kneel, no insult will extinguish my purpose,” she said in Spanish, as translated by Google.

“Because when one woman raises her voice, we all raise our voices. When one woman resists, we all resist. When one woman wins, she paves the way for thousands more.

“To those who have attacked me and fabricated slander, I say: my victory is not a threat. My victory is a reminder that women are resilient, capable, and powerful. We are not here to fulfill other people’s expectations; we are here to transform the world.”

Fatima said that she will use her platform to make women’s voices heard.

“I will not back down, I will not hide, and I will not ask permission to shine,” she said.

“Because when one woman stands firm against hate, she paves the way for thousands more.”

This year’s edition has been marred by scandals, from the pre-sashing incident between her and Thai businessman and Miss Universe executive director Nawat Itsaragrisil to changes in judges and resignations.
