EJ Obiena praises Alex Eala on her first WTA 125 title

From one delight of the Philippines to a different, Olympian and pole vaulter EJ Obiena praised tennis ace Alex Eala after she gained her first WTA 125 title.

Eala on Sunday defeated Hungary’s Panna Udvardy, 1-6, 7-5, 6-3, within the finals of the Guadalajara 125 Open to assert her first WTA 125 trophy.

On Instagram, Obiena reposted the match’s photograph of Eala with the caption, “Successful titles appears to be like good on you.”

Eala is expected to fly to Brazil next for the SP Open.

Obiena, the world No. 5 in pole vault and Asia’s document holder, will compete in the World Athletics Championships this month. He additionally headlines the nine-man list of pole vaulters set to compete in the World Pole Vault Challenge in the Philippines.
