MANILA, Philippines — D&L Industries has been recognized for the sixth consecutive year by the Institute of Corporate Directors for excellence in corporate governance under the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS).

The company received three Golden Arrows this year during the awarding ceremony held on Oct. 23 at Okada Manila.

The Golden Arrow Awards honor publicly listed companies that achieve high ACGS scores reflecting their adherence to the principles of good corporate governance.

The scorecard evaluates performance in key areas such as shareholder rights and equitable treatment, sustainability and resilience, stakeholder relations, transparency through timely disclosure and effective board oversight.

“We are deeply honored to receive three Golden Arrows this year. From our initial one-arrow recognition to two arrows last year and now three, this steady progression reflects our unwavering commitment to continuously elevate our corporate governance practices,”  D&L president and CEO Alvin Lao said.

Lao said good governance remains central to D&L’s business strategy, serving as a cornerstone of sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

Established in 1963, D&L Industries is a company engaged in product customization and specialization for the food, chemicals, plastics and consumer goods industries. Its core business includes manufacturing customized food ingredients, specialty raw materials for plastics and oleochemicals for personal and home care use.

Listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange in December 2012, D&L holds the largest market share in each of the industries it serves and maintains long-standing partnerships with the country’s leading consumer and manufacturing firms.
