CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — The latest Court of Appeals (CA) decision that affirmed the conviction of the progressive politicians Satur Ocampo and France Castro, along with 11 Lumad educators, collectively known as the “Talaingod 13,” raised grave concerns among human rights activists. Such a ruling sets a dangerous precedent of criminalizing humanitarian actions, according to the Save Our Schools (SOS) Network.
