MANILA, Philippines — Actress Andrea Brillantes is the 2026 Tanduay Calendar Girl, jumping from her tweetums role to a more mature identity.
At 22 years old, Andrea is one of the youngest women to be given the title. Katrina Halili was 20 years old when she was named in 2007 while Bangs Garcia, Nina Jose, and Barbie Imperial were all 22 back in 2009, 2010, and 2020.
During the launch last November 14, Andrea revealed she had not worked out before the calendar shoot because of a bout with COVID-19.
The young actress advised the public to remain cautious as COVID-19 continues to exist a couple years since the pandemic.
Andrea also shared she was hands on with the concept of the mew Tanduay calendar, pointing out she is still the same Andrea but only braver.
“I wouldn’t say bagong Blythe. It is still me. Just braver. Mas brave na ako ngayon. I am really grateful sa lahat ng nangyari,” Andrea ended.
Andrea succeeds Kim Chiu as the Tanduay Calendar Girl, a title previously held by Julia Barretto, Kylie Versoza, Bea Alonzo, Ivana Alawi, Ellen Adarna, Jessy Mendiola, and Heart Evangelista.
