Canon has officially launched its EOS C50 cinema camera in the Philippines.
The compact full-frame camera records 7K 60p RAW video, 4K 120p footage, and features a 32MP sensor for both video and photo capture.
The EOS C50 is Canon’s smallest and lightest Cinema EOS camera, designed for professional use in both location shoots and studio environments.
It’s the first Cinema EOS model capable of 3:2 Open Gate recording, making full use of its 7K sensor for enhanced post-production flexibility.
The camera also offers simultaneous crop recording, capturing full 4K alongside cropped vertical or square versions in a single take.
Other key features include Dual-Pixel CMOS AF II, dual-base ISO (800 and 6400), a built-in handle unit with XLR audio inputs, adjustable-speed zoom rocker, Frame.io Camera-to-Cloud integration, and storage via CFexpress Type-B and SD cards.
