MANILA, Philippines — Bianca Pagdangangan fired a three-under 69 to run 4 pictures off the early leaders that included Fil-Am Allisen Corpuz within the FM Championship in Massachusetts Thursday.
The ability-hitting Filipina, who averaged 310 yards off the tee on the TPC Boston, kicked off her bid with 4 straight birdies from No. 12 in a bogey-free 32 on the bottom.
Pagdanganan, although, slowed down from there, gunning down two birdies in between three bogeys to accept a 37 on the entrance.
The 2-time Olympian grabbed a share of nineteenth going into the second spherical – inside putting distance of US guess Corpuz, Korea’s Sei Younger Kim and England’s Jodi Ewart Shadoff, who turned in an identical 65s.
Corpuz, the 2023 US Girls’s Open champion who traces her roots to Ilocos Norte, racked up 4 birdies in her final six holes.
