MANILA, Philippines — Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres called the Philippines’ Ahtisa Manalo “a dream” after the Filipina beauty queen came out in a stunning Val Taguba gown in the long gown competition earlier today.
During her commentary with Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel, Dayanara was all praises for Ahtisa.
“The Philippines, I needed to say that. Did you see that eye contact? That was impressive,” Dayanara said.
“She just know the camera, she knows the angle, she knows where exactly where to look,” she added.
For her long gown, Dayanara described Ahtisa as a dream.
“That was a dream, a dream come true,” Dayanara said.
Dayanara spent five years in the Philippines as host and appeared in several movies.
